Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. David Ryan provides scheduled orthopedic surgeries at Elbert Memorial Hospital. While Dr. Ryan also works in Athens, he sees patients pre and post op in Elberton, as well as perform surgery at EMH. Patients love the fact there’s no long drive for appointments or the day of surgery as well as the quality care, easy parking and personal attention. To top it off, our orthopedic patients get the benefit of our experienced surgical nurses, certified nurse anesthetists, and surgical techs for a complete patient care team.

Meet Dr. Ryan
Dr. Ryan is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Ryan completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Florida. After completing his residency, he went to Richmond, Virginia to complete his fellowship at the Orthopaedic Research of Virginia – Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery.
